Nuestro rebaño
Por el incalculable valor natural y patrimonial que supone, nuestras ovejas son xaldas.
Esta raza de origen celta estuvo al borde de la extinción en el Principado de Asturias a principios de los años 80 llegando a recuperarse gracias a la creación de la Asociación de Criadores d´Oveya Xalda (ACOXA) en 1992.
Nuestro rebaño está compuesto por hembras blancas, negras, «pintas» y un magnífico macho negro con el característico porte muflónico de los carneros xaldos
Nuestro compromiso
Toda la finca se somete a estrictos controles por parte del Consejo de la Producción Agraria Ecológica del Principado de Asturias (COPAE) y destacamos nuestro compromiso con el BIENESTAR ANIMAL.
Un reencuentro con lo ancestral
Basándonos en nuestro gusto por las técnicas tradicionales y el respeto a la naturaleza, parte de la lana obtenida tras esquilar a nuestras ovejas es lavada cuidadosamente a mano con jabones naturales y agua de lluvia.
Una vez se seca al sol, se carda a mano, obteniendo como resultado un extraordinario relleno para peluches y cojines totalmente ecológico, hipoalergénico y 100% natural.
A manual selection process is carried out with the wool from our flock and from other friendly organic farms, selecting the highest quality. It is then sent to a small spinning mill in Cuenca, where it is carefully processed and returned already spun.
EL RESULTADO
- 100% natural Xalda and Merino wool, which I later use for my handcrafted creations.
- These techniques allow us to reconnect with our most ancestral nature, highlighting the importance of keeping our ancestors' legacy alive and revaluing the place we come from.
- In this way, we demonstrate the importance of using the resources nature provides us in a sustainable and environmentally respectful manner, thus helping to reduce our carbon footprint.

It's easy to be inspired when beauty exists.
To develop and create all my handcrafted products, I draw inspiration from the nature surrounding the Reserve, the colors that envelop me throughout the different seasons, as well as the textures and shapes that make my creations original and unique. Always respecting the environment.
